West Coast Flower Update 8 September 2017 << go back

posted on 08 September 2017

We still having rain on the West Coast, a very welcoming sight. A saying goes with rain comes blessings, and this is indeed so. Not only for our flowers but because we are suffering a severe drought. That has had implications for various business sectors in the entire region. We would, therefore, like to encourage you to think green when visiting the West Coast and help us conserve our natural resources, especially water.
This week has been chilly and rainy, so the flowers were hiding just like the sun. Remember that flowers are best seen when the sun is out and between 11 am – 3 am this is usually the warmest time of the day. If you in the West Coast there is plenty to see and do, visit our website at www.capewestcoast.org and follow our social media handles.
