KLAWER

Klawer represents a tranquil countryside and is situated on the banks of the Olifants River, which snakes its way past the emerald green vineyards.
During the flower season Klawer and the surrounding countryside are transformed from an arid landscape into a flower lover's paradise. The town was actually named after a plant growing in the area - the wild clover.
The nearby Doring River is ideal for river rafting and exploration of the river banks. Visitors can taste and purchase award-winning wines at the Klawer Wine Cellar situated alongside the N7 road from Cape Town. Klawer is a central point from where places like Vredendal, Strandfontein, Lamberts Bay, Clanwilliam and Vanrhynsdorp can easily be reached.
